This is the single most popular chess board design (in the most popular colour - green) used in schools, tournaments and clubs across Canada and the USA. The board is very easy to clean and is extremely durable. Algebraic coordinates are cleanly printed for reference.

It can conveniently be rolled up for storage between games. The standard tournament pieces with a King at 3¾ inches are right for this board. Some clubs and schools have chosen to upgrade the pieces to the detailed and weighted plastic Conqueror pieces with a King slightly taller at 3-7/8".
